SeaPro™ Aquafeed Ingredients are made from algae. Algae are the most efficient agricultural crop on the planet, utilizing far less water than traditional crops (93% less water than wheat, 67% less water than soy). Algae capture sunlight and carbon dioxide, and convert them to valuable nutrients in as little as 5 - 7 days (100 - 130 days for wheat and 80 -120 days for soy). This fast growth cycle means algae are for more productive per acre, producing 10 - 50 times more biomass per acre than wheat and 10 - 100 times more biomass per acre than soy.

As the base of the aquatic food web, algae are the primary producers of the ocean responsible for all the essential nutrients and micronutrients in the oceanic food web. As a result, algae are the gold standard when it comes to ideal nutrition for aqua cultured livestock. Algae produce proteins with all essential amino acids, fatty acids including Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, immune system stimulants that can replace anti-biotics and pigments such as astaxanthin, phycocyanin and chlorophyl.

We have a myriad of algae (50,000 described species and between 200,00 and 800,000 yet to be described) at our finger tips to define a formulation that can deliver the nutrients you need in the form your livestock ingest naturally and can easily digest.

Our initial production facility will be based in Hawai’i and will supply local aqua feed manufacturing, closing the loop on Hawai’i’s ability to avoid the carbon footprint and cost of importing feed ingredients. In addition, it will allow reduction in the importation of seafood and contribute to our community’s ability to achieve food sovereignty. As we expand markets, we will stay committed to the model of producing locally for various markets.

With a protein content of 57.8% this formulation offers a high quality protein coupled with a 5% concentration of EPA and 2% DHA. A viable solution for your high use grow out feeds.
SeaPro™ Omega+
A unique formulation high in both EPA and DHA. 10% of the fatty acids in this formulation are EPA, with 7.5% of fatty acids being DHA. A fabulous addition to a finishing feed!
SeaPro™ Immunity+
With high levels of both phospholipids and 𝛽-glucans, while also providing high levels of pigments including carotenoids and a high EPA level, this formulation is ideal for brood stock and starter feeds.
